The Nindies Summer Showcase on August 28 included many announcements and updates detailed below, as well as the announcement of a new Switch channel for indie game news.

Nintendo also announced the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Pro Controller Bundle for $139.99, as well as the standalone controller for $74.99.

New Games, Ports, & Localizations

NIS announced Lapis Re Abyss for the Switch and PS4.

Damnview: Built From Nothing has been announced for all major platforms.

Aragami: Shadow Edition will be coming physically and digitally to the Switch this fall, with cross-platform co-op.

The Walking Vegetables: Radical Edition is coming to consoles digitally this fall.

Sparklite has been announced for all major platforms.

Buildings Have Feelings Too! has been announced for all major platforms for spring 2019.

Hell Warders is coming to consoles this fall.

Capcom is bringing Onimusha: Warlords to all major platforms on January 15 for $19.99, digital-only for the Switch version.

Marble It Up! has been announced for September.

Nefarious is coming to consoles, Switch version set for September 12.

Hover is coming to consoles in September, with the Switch version set for September 20 for $24.99.

Treasure Stack has been announced for winter.

Zarvot is coming first to the Switch in October.

Bullet Age was announced for November as a console exclusive.

LevelHead is coming to the Switch in November.

Samurai Gunn 2 was announced for 2019, as were The World Next DoorKing of the Hat, and Untitled Goose Game.

Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP is coming to the Switch in October.

Into the Breach is available now.

BQM – BlockQuest Maker is coming to the Switch this fall.

Secret Game: Killer Queen and Rebellions: Secret Game 2nd Stage are coming to the Switch in Japan on September 27.

Tick Tock: A Tale for Two has been announced for Switch, PC, Mac, and mobile for Q1 2019.

Hellpoint has been announced for all major platforms for 2019.

La-Mulana 2 is coming to consoles in spring 2019.

Gato Roboto was announced for the Switch and PC for 2019.

Rebel Galaxy Outlaw was announced for the Switch, PS4, and PC for Q1 2019.

Observer is coming to the Switch.

Ise Shima Mystery Guide: The False Black Pearl is coming to the Switch, which may mean the 3DS version has been cancelled.

Daihanjou! Manpuku Marche: Gourmet Story is coming to the Switch this winter in Japan.

Slime Tactics has been announced for the Switch for Japan.

Valkyria Chronicles Remastered is coming west on October 16 for $19.99, with a 25% discount if you buy Valkyria Chronicles 4 digitally.

A trailer is available for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Extra Pack 3 DLC.

The season finale of The Darkside Detective is available now through a free update.

Izuku Midoriya Shoot Style will be free DLC for My Hero One’s Justice.

There is a 6-minute overview trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles 2Torna ~ The Golden Country.

10 more games will be added as free post-launch DLC to the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection.

Nintendo Switch and Wii U News

Shovel Knight Showdown has been announced as both a free update to Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove and a standalone release for $9.99, though it won’t be available for the 3DS (or Vita) version.
