Nintendo Switch News

Nintendo UK posted a surprise Indie Highlights presentation, with many announcements described below. Meanwhile, Nintendo of America announced a Nindies Showcase for August 28 at 9 AM PT.

Nintendo has announced the Nintendo Labo: Vehicle Kit for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

New Games, Ports, & Localizations

Night Call is coming to the Switch as well as PC in early 2019.

This War of Mine is coming to the Switch in November.

Everspace: Stellar Edition is coming to the Switch both physically and digitally in December.

Baba is You has been announced for this fall.

Slay the Spire is coming to the Switch in early 2019.

Windjammers 2 has been announced for 2019.

Prison Architect: Nintendo Switch Edition is available now, with Escape Mode coming this summer.

Underworld Ascendant is coming to consoles in 2019.

Death’s Gambit is coming to the Switch and Xbox One physically and digitally in late 2018/early 2019 (as well as a physical PS4 release).

Button Button was announced.

A Hat in Time is coming to the Switch.

Grandia + Grandia II HD Remaster has been announced for this winter.

Digital Uppercut has announced that both Valfaris and Unto the End are coming to the Switch as well as the previously-announced platforms.

Brawlhalla is coming the Switch (and Xbox One) on November 6.

Saints Row: The Third is coming to the Switch.

Battle Chef Brigade Deluxe has been announced for August 28, with the new content to be added as a free update to current versions.

The first three seasons of The Walking Dead: A Telltale Series are coming to the Switch, with Season One planned for August 28 for $24.99.

Ary and the Secret of Seasons has been announced for all major platforms for 2019.

Play-Asia will sell physical editions (standard and limited) of RXN: Raijin starting in September.

Gesshizu: Gajigaji Nakama wo Sodateyou has been announced for Japan.

Nora to Oujo to Noraneko Heart 2 was announced for Japan for the Switch, PS4, and Vita.

A new trailer is out for Work x Work.

A new 25-minute video highlights the customization in SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy. Thief Arthur was also announced as a DLC character.

A gameplay overview trailer is out for Beyblade Burst: Battle Zero.

The debut trailer is out for Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists.

Updates & DLC

Diddy Kong will be added to Mario Tennis Aces in September (if you play the in-game tournament)/October (everyone).

A new Brawlout trailer shows Yooka and Laylee.

The Xenoblade Chronicles 2 version 1.5.2 update adds new features and two new Blades, including Elma. There is also a new story trailer for Torna ~ The Golden Country.

Deemo will add compatibility with the Piano Toy-Con.
