As we approach the end of May, we’re treated to a host of Pokémon news, among other announcements. Tune in to the Nintendo Chit Chat podcast to learn more about the latest news.

Nintendo Switch News

New Games, Ports, & Localizations

Pokémon Quest, a free-to-play action RPG, is available now from the Switch eShop and will be coming to mobile devices in June.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! will launch worldwide on November 16, along with a special Poké Ball Plus device.

The next core Pokémon game teased last year at E3 will be out in the second half of 2019.

Sega has announced Team Sonic Racing for all major platforms, to be released this winter.

NIS America announced Yomawari: The Long Night Collection, which includes both Yomawari: Night Alone and Yomawari: Midnight Shadows, for October 30 in North America and October 26 in Europe, as well as a $54.99 limited edition.

Waku Waku Sweets: Amai Okashi ga Dekiru kana has been announced for this summer in Japan. It’s unclear if it’s a port or sequel to the 3DS game.

Fifa 19 will be on the Switch with an improved version of the custom engine used for the previous game.

Galak-Z: Variant S has been announced for the Switch. The publisher, GungHo Online Entertainment, will also have a “major game reveal” for the Switch at E3.

The director of Our World Is Ended has announced that their next game will most likely come to the Switch and PS4.

Trailers & Details

100 winners have been announced of Square Enix’s Dragon Quest Builders landscapes contest, and all 100 will appear in Dragon Quest Builders 2.

An Amiibo Edition has been announced for Mega Man 11, and a new trailer is also available.

Three new songs have been announced for Musynx. You can listen to them here, here, and here.

New details have been added to the Little Dragons Cafe website, including an explanation of how to change your dragon’s color.

Limited Run Games will bring out a physical copy of West of Loathing, with pre-orders to open on August 3.

Nicalis has revealed the opening movie for Crystal Crisis.

Updates & DLC

The new update for Mulaka adds a new picture mode.

In addition to Daroach, the summer update for Kirby: Star Allies will add Dark Meta Knight as a Dream Friend.

A new stage and weapons are now available in Splatoon 2.

A website has opened up for the upcoming Switch and 3DS versions of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.

A Gamestop-exclusive New 2DS XL Hylian Shield Edition with The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds pre-loaded has been announced for July 2, for $159.99.

Trailers & Details

The Japanese box art has been revealed for Etrian Odyssey X. A new trailer is also available.
