Nintendo Switch News

New Games, Ports, & Localizations

Nintendo announced the “Switch 2nd Unit Set” for Japan, a dockless unit that includes only the Switch, Joy-Cons, and Joy-Con straps.

A deck-building roguelite RPG called A Long Way Down has been announced for the Switch and PC, for $14.99.

Resident Evil 7 is coming to the Switch in Japan on May 24 as Resident Evil 7: biohazard Cloud Edition, a version that will be streamed from the cloud with a 180-day subscription.

Nurse Love Addiction is also coming to the eShop in Japan on May 24.

The mobile musical runner Lost in Harmony is coming to the eShop on June 21.

Gal Metal is being localized. It will be out in the west both physically and digitally this fall.

Brownies, the studio that worked on the mobile game Egglia: Legend of the Redcap, has a Switch game in development that will be some sort of “raising game” (pet/monster-raising).

Trailers & Details

Love Heart from Sky Love, who also appeared in King of Fighters XIV, will be a playable character in SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy. A new trailer is available for her now.

The box art has been revealed for Little Dragons Café. New information has also been added to the Japanese website.

A new trailer is available for Shining Resonance Refrain.

A demo is available now on the eShop for Happy Birthdays, and a new trailer is also available.

There is also a demo out now for the Switch version of Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido.

Meet the squad in the latest trailer for Valkyria Chronicles 4. A $99.99 “Memoirs from Battle” edition was also announced.

Updates & DLC

The summer update for Kirby: Star Allies will add Daroach as a Dream Friend.

The Donkey Kong Adventure DLC for Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle will be out in June. Check out the official trailer.

The Version 1.3 update for Deemo will be out on May 24, adding 11 new songs and controller support.

The Version 1.1 update for Wulverblade is also out on May 24, adding an Easy mode and other adjustments.

Trailers & Details

Etrian Odyssey X will have all 313 past class appearance illustrations available as DLC at launch, to be free for the first month and then become paid DLC after that. New characters and enemies were also revealed this week.
