Getting Started With Miitopia

Getting Started With Miitopia

Miitopia is only a week away. If you’re preparing to embark on a wacky RPG adventure with your Mii companions, here are a few tips to keep in mind.

You Can Change NPCs

The game asks you to cast certain Miitopia characters and automatically fills in others, but if you don’t like the choices, there’s no need to worry. All you need to do is open the menu, choose Records, then Journal, and then Mii Cast, and you’ll be able to assign new Miis. You can choose a Mii you already have, create one from scratch, scan a QR code, or let the game assign another random Mii for you.

This can be done for NPCs and characters like the Dark Lord and Great Sage, but not for your party members.

So How Do You Change Party Members?

Once you cast a Mii as a party member, you can’t simply change the Mii like you can for NPCs. However, you can edit your party members from the Party menu, allowing you to change their appearances, personalities, and names. Don’t forget, no matter what gear you equip, you can change its appearance to that of other equipment you have.

Like Tomodachi Life, Miitopia lets you easily cast your favorite characters.

Changing Classes

Likewise, you can’t change your party members’ classes right away. Choose carefully! However, things will happen later in the game that let you use different classes.

In Conclusion

These are a few tips and answers to common Miitopia questions that should help you when you get started with the game. Miitopia will be out on July 28 for the 3DS. What are you looking forward to the most?
