Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Coming to the Switch

The newest Harvest Moon game from Natsume has been announced, and you’ll be able to play it on your Nintendo Switch. Natsume and Rising Star Games announced that Harvest Moon: Light of Hope will be available for the Switch, PS4, and PC, with the Switch and PC versions being playable at E3 2017.

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope charges the player with rebuilding a town devastated by a monsoon. According to Natsume’s President and CEO, Hiro Maekawa, this will be “a SNES-style nostalgic game” that features “a robust story and clear-cut goals.” No release window has been announced yet.

Responses to the new Harvest Moon series have been mixed since the separation from the original Harvest Moon series (now released under the name Story of Seasons). However, since Natsume hopes to make Light of Hope stand out from previous games in the series, it will be interesting to see what the final product is like.
