Nintendo Announces E3 2017 Presentation
Previously, Nintendo announced that it would once again skip an E3 stage show, and now we know the details of the company’s digital E3 2017 plans.
First up, Nintendo will hold a special digital presentation on June 13 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET. It will be shown live at e3.nintendo.com and focus on games coming out in 2017. It will specifically cover Nintendo Switch games, including Super Mario Odyssey.
As they’ve done in previous years, Nintendo will follow its initial E3 presentation with Nintendo Treehouse gameplay. From June 13 through June 15, Nintendo Treehouse will live-stream upcoming Switch and 3DS games, along with commentary and behind-the-scenes information.
Nintendo’s E3 Booth
Visitors to Nintendo’s E3 booth, which opens at noon on June 13, will be able to try Super Mario Odyssey and other Switch games.
Finally, Nintendo will be live-streaming game tournaments during E3. On June 13, four pre-qualified squads from the U.S., Japan, Europe, and Australia/New Zealand will compete in the first international Splatoon 2 competition, the 2017 Splatoon 2 World Inkling Invitational. Following that, on June 14, players will compete in the 2017 ARMS Open Invitational.
Nintendo intends to reveal more specific details once we get closer to E3, but for now, that’s a good look at what we can expect. What are you looking forward to the most from Nintendo at E3 2017?
