Koei Tecmo Has More Nintendo Switch Games Planned

Koei Tecmo is currently working on Fire Emblem Warriors, the musou-style Fire Emblem spin-off for the Nintendo Switch, but that will be far from their only Switch game.

In fact, we already knew about a few multi-platform games coming to the Nintendo Switch. Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence and Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII were already released for the Switch in Japan, and Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi and Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon have also been announced.

At a recent financial results briefing, Koei Tecmo praised the Switch’s ability to let you play anywhere and promised continued support for the console. According to the translation from Gematsu, Fire Emblem Warriors isn’t the only Switch-exclusive title Koei Tecmo is working on. They’re also working on additional “major collaboration titles,” although these might not be exclusive to the Switch.

What could Koei Tecmo’s unannounced Switch games be? While another musou spin-off is a possibility, Koei Tecmo also developed the Wii U exclusive Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. A new Fatal Frame for the Nintendo Switch is a viable possibility.

What Switch games do you think Koei Tecmo is working on? What games do you hope to see from them? Let us know in the comments.
