Three New Kirby Games Announced for the 3DS

It’s Kirby’s anniversary, and Nintendo is celebrating with not one, not two, but three new entries in the popular series, all announced during the recent Nintendo Direct.

Team Kirby Clash Deluxe

The first new Kirby game is a free-to-start multiplayer action game in which four players take on different roles (Sword Hero, Hammer Lord, Beam Mage, and Doctor Healmore) to defeat bosses, complete quests, and overcome challenges. Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, which is an expansion of the mini-game found in Planet Robobot, is available right now on the Nintendo eShop.

Kirby’s Blowout Blast

Also based on a mini-game, Kirby’s Blowout Blast is an upcoming game focused on inhaling enemies and blowing them away to build up your score. It will feature over 25 stages and special challenges. It will come to the Nintendo eShop this summer.

Untitled Multiplayer Game

Finally, one more Kirby 3DS game is set for this holiday season. It will be a multiplayer action game, but Nintendo hasn’t revealed any other details yet.

  1. Team Clash Deluxe is pretty addicting and inexpensive when you have to start paying for gem apples.

    • That’s good to know.

      • I played for about 2 hours before having to spend any money, when you do have to and connect online to purchase the “gem apples”, they often have sales on higher counts. They also reward you in game and allow you to harvest more gem apples as thanks for making the purchase.
