Radiant Historia Remake Announced for the 3DS
In 2010, Atlus released a time travel-themed RPG called Radiant Historia for the Nintendo DS. Now, the game is being remade for the 3DS as Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology.
Thanks to a translation from Gematsu, we know a few details about Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology from the Weekly Famitsu’s feature on it. Perfect Chronology is a full remake of the original game, with improved graphics, a full lineup of voice actors, and an opening animation from A-1 Pictures.
It also features a new “Sub-History” scenario that will exist alongside the Standard History and Alternate History timelines from the original game. You’ll have two options for experiencing the new Sub-History content. In “Perfect Mode,” you’ll play through the Sub-History sections along with the original two from the start of the game. In “Append Mode,” you’ll only unlock Sub-History after you complete the original two.
One new character has been announced, a mysterious girl named Nemesia who is connected to the Sub-History content. More details about the game will be revealed during a “New Title Announcement Special Spring 2017” live stream announced by Atlus for March 26 at 7:00 PM JST.
Radiant Historia; Perfect Chronology is set to release in Japan on June 29. No localization news has been revealed yet.

I tried Radiant Historia and couldn’t get into it, which disappointed me since it’s highly praised.

was it the game-play, story, or a mash of things?

I wasn’t really invested in the characters and plot, which left me with only the gameplay, and since I mainly play RPGs for the story, I started getting tired of the gameplay without the story to hold my interest.
