Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers Launches May 26 for the Switch

Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers is on its way to the Nintendo Switch.

The original Street Fighter II has been upgrade several times, but this is the first new version of the popular fighting game in 10 years. It includes the original characters, the characters added in Super Street Fighter II, and two new characters: Evil Ryu and Violent Ken.

In addition, there are also new gameplay features. You’ll be able to pick between modern graphics and retro pixel-art graphics, compete with your friends either online or offline, use the Joy-Con’s motion controls to perform Hadouken and Shoryuken moves in the all-new “Way of the Hado” mode, and play co-op with a friend while fighting CPU opponents in “Dynamic Battle” mode.

Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers also includes a 250+ page digital artbook that showcases Street Fighter II’s long history. The game will be available for the Nintendo Switch in all regions on May 26. It will cost $39.99.
