3 Nintendo Switch Games You Might Overlook (but Shouldn’t)

Ever since the announcement of the Nintendo Switch, its biggest games have dominated the headlines: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2… but several other games have been announced as well. Here are three worthwhile Nintendo Switch games you might have overlooked.

Snipperclips: Cut it Out, Together!

Snipperclips is a cooperative puzzle game due out in March. 2-4 players must solve various puzzles by working together to cut shapes out of the characters (Snip and Clip) and interact with the environment. If you like puzzles and want a game to play with your friends, Snipperclips is worth a look.

Has-Been Heroes

Has-Been Heroes is an action strategy game set for March 28. You control three different characters and use both turn-based and real-time strategy elements to defeat your enemies. It features hundreds of spells you can combine for special combo effects, as well as 12 different heroes, increasingly difficult levels, and permadeath to add a bit of extra challenge.

Snake Pass

Snake Pass is a 3D puzzle platformer game also due out on March 28. In this game, you control a snake named Noodle (who has a hummingbird partner named Doodle) who must slither and coil his way through several puzzle-filled levels, finding collectibles along the way.

Although they haven’t received as much attention as some of the bigger games, Snipperclips, Has-Been Heroes, and Snake Pass are all games you can enjoy on your Nintendo Switch this March! Do any of them interest you?

  1. think i will pick up Has-Been Heroes. Looks to be GameStop exclusive retail.

  2. Not a fan of any of them really. I will have to look at gameplay. HasBeen Heroes seems funny and Snake Pass is another Banjo Kazooie ripoff which might make it interesting. Just not sure yet.

    • I’m interested in Snake Pass because I love 3D platformers like Banjo-Kazooie, but the snake controls look unusual enough that they could get tedious once the novelty wears off. I’m going to wait for reviews and see what people say about that.
