Top 3 Rarest Wii U Games

With the Nintendo Switch just around the corner, it won’t be long before many Wii U games are difficult to find. Some are already tough to get, at least as far as physical copies are concerned. Let’s take a look at three of the rarest Wii U games.

3. Wii Sports Club

Wii Sports Club can be downloaded for free from the eShop, after which you can buy the HD remakes of the games from Wii Sports individually. If you’d rather have them all in a single collection, however, Nintendo released a physical copy of Wii Sports Club… but good luck finding one. New copies of Wii Sports Club are currently selling online for $90. Used copies? $80.

2. Hello Kitty Kruisers

Why is a Hello Kitty game that sells for $9.99 on the eShop so rare if you want a physical copy? We’re not sure, but Hello Kitty Kruisers will cost you $100 for a new copy. Used copies are difficult to even find, but we’ve seen them go for anywhere from $50 to $90.

1. Bayonetta 2 with Bayonetta

When Bayonetta 2 launched for the Wii U, it came with the original Bayonetta included. Both are fantastic games, but while you can buy Bayonetta from the eShop for $29.99 and Bayonetta 2 was re-released as a standalone game, the Bayonetta 2/Bayonetta two-pack now sells for over $110 new, with used copies ranging from $70-$80 dollars.

These three games are among the rarest Wii U games currently available, but at least they’re available digitally. When the handful of Wii U games not on the eShop start to become scarce, then potential players will have a real challenge…
