Breath of the Wild Guide Listing Indicates Number of Shrines & More
When the official guide for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild surfaced on Amazon, its description contained a number of interesting details about the game. Among other things, it listed the number of shrines and side quests. The page has since disappeared from Amazon, but fans got the important details before it vanished.
If you want to go into Breath of the Wild without knowing gameplay details like that, you should stop reading here. But if you’re curious about just how much content the next Legend of Zelda game will offer, read on.
According to the description for the official guide, Breath of the Wild includes 120 shrines. That’s a fair amount of content just from these mini-dungeons, but it also has 76 side quests and 900 Korok seed puzzles. Although we don’t know exactly what the Korok seed puzzles are, the demo had Koroks who would appear if the player performed a specific action. The puzzles are most likely tied to a similar feature. And while it doesn’t go into detail about the rest, it mentions “optional challenges, mini-games, unlockables, Easter eggs, and more.”
120 shrines? 76 side quests? 900 Korok seed puzzles?
It certainly sounds as though The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild contains enough content to keep players occupied for a long time. The game will be out for both the Wii U and the Switch on March 3. Are you going to pick it up?
