Tell Tantalus the Games You Want on the Switch

The CEO of Tantalus Media, the company that co-developed The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD to bring it to the Wii U, recently announced in an interview that they’re working on titles for the Nintendo Switch. (That’s right, titles, plural.) You can head to our forum discussion of this news to speculate on what games those might be.

That’s not the only thing of interest CEO Tom Crago said in the interview, though. In addition to his excitement about the Switch and that Tantalus has been working on unannounced Switch games for a while, he also mentioned that fans will probably look at Nintendo’s old titles and think about the games they’d love to see brought to the Nintendo Switch. Since Tantalus worked on bringing Twilight Princess HD to the Wii U, they would be a natural choice for fans to contact with such requests… and he not only acknowledged that, he encouraged it.

Crago invited fans to “feel free to make suggestions on [Tantalus’s] Facebook page” for games they’d like Tantalus to bring to the Switch. Additionally, on the Facebook page itself for Tantalus Games, the post that links to the interview once again asks fans to “keep those suggestions rolling in.”

Since the interview was published, fans have been posting on the Facebook page with requests for games like Super Smash Bros. Melee, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem, the unlocalized Wii Fatal Frame games, and many others.

It’s no guarantee Tantalus will or even can follow some of the suggestions, but it can’t hurt to ask–especially when the developer specifically asked fans to do so.

Are there games you’d like to see on the Nintendo Switch, especially past Nintendo games that could be remastered the way Twilight Princess was for the Wii U? Discuss the games with us in the comments… but more importantly, visit Tantalus’s Facebook page and join the fans offering game suggestions!

  1. I am very interested to see what they bring to the SWITCH. They did an excellent job with Mass Effect 3 and of course TWP HD 🙂
